Most SMM panel businesses think SEO only works for global traffic. They skip the local market completely and jump straight into competing with established international players.
That is a mistake.
GrowFollows took a different approach. They started with Bangladesh. Built a strong local presence first. Then expanded globally once the foundation was solid.
The result? They went from zero organic traffic in April 2022 to 3,200 monthly visitors by December 2025. 75,100 clicks in the last six months alone. 1,100 ranking keywords. All organic.
This case study shows you exactly how we did it. The local strategy. The global expansion. The numbers. Everything.
About the Client
- Client: GrowFollows
- Website: growfollows.com
- CEO: Ihsan Mahbub
- Industry: SMM Panel (Social Media Marketing Panel)
- Project Duration: May 2022 to December 2025 (44 months)
- Strategy: Local Bangladesh SEO first, then global expansion
GrowFollows is an SMM panel that serves individuals, businesses, and resellers who need social media growth services. They offer solutions across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Spotify. The platform focuses on affordable pricing, fast delivery, and 24/7 customer support.
When Ihsan Mahbub reached out to me in early 2022, GrowFollows had a functioning website but almost no organic search traffic. Most of their customers came from word of mouth, direct visits, and paid advertising. They wanted to change that.
Ihsan had a clear vision. Start with Bangladesh. Dominate the local market first. Then go global. That was the plan we followed.
The Starting Point: April 2022
Before we started any SEO work, we needed to understand where GrowFollows stood.
Here is what the data showed us in April 2022.

| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Authority Score | 17 (Average) |
| Organic Traffic | 0 visitors/month |
| Organic Keywords | 7 |
| Referring Domains | 864 |
| Backlinks | 7,300 |
| Paid Traffic | 0 visitors/month |
Zero organic traffic. Seven ranking keywords. That was the reality.
The authority score was average at 17. The backlink profile existed but was not helping with rankings. The website had content, but it was not optimized for search engines.
This was actually a good starting position. The site had some domain authority already. We just needed to unlock it with proper SEO.
What Was Holding Them Back?
We identified five major problems that were stopping GrowFollows from ranking on Google.
No local SEO strategy. The website was not optimized for Bangladesh users at all. No Bengali content. No location-based keywords. No local trust signals. This was a problem because Ihsan wanted to target the Bangladesh market first.
Generic service pages. The service pages looked exactly like every other SMM panel out there. Short descriptions. No unique value. No keyword optimization. Google had no reason to rank them over competitors.
No content marketing. The website had zero blog posts. No guides. No case studies. No educational content. They were missing out on all the informational search traffic that could bring in potential customers.
Weak technical foundation. Page speed was slow. Mobile optimization needed work. Internal linking was almost non-existent. These technical issues were quietly hurting their rankings.
No clear target audience. The website tried to speak to everyone at once. Resellers, businesses, individuals. The messaging was confused. Google could not figure out who the site was really for.
Understanding semantic SEO and topic clusters would have helped them structure their content better from the start. But they did not know about it yet.
Our Strategy: Local First, Then Global
We broke the project into two clear phases.
Phase 1: Local Bangladesh SEO (May 2022 to December 2023)
The first 20 months were all about dominating the Bangladesh market.
We started with keyword research focused on Bangladeshi users. Terms like “SMM panel Bangladesh“, “cheap SMM panel BD”, “Instagram followers Bangladesh”, and similar location-based queries. These keywords had lower competition and higher conversion rates for local customers.
Next, we rewrote every service page with a focus on local users. We added Bengali sections where appropriate. We mentioned local payment methods like bKash, Nagad, and Rocket. We highlighted customer support in Bengali. We made it clear that GrowFollows understood the Bangladeshi market.
We also built out a blog section targeting educational keywords. Articles like “How to grow Instagram followers in Bangladesh”, “Best SMM panel for Bangladeshi businesses”, and “Social media marketing tips for Bangladesh” brought in traffic from people searching for information.
Technical SEO was critical during this phase. We improved page speed by compressing images and cleaning up code. We set up proper internal linking between service pages and blog posts. We made sure the website was mobile-friendly, which is essential in Bangladesh where 98% of internet users access the web through smartphones.
Local link building was another focus area. We got mentions on Bangladesh business directories, local tech blogs, and industry forums. These local backlinks helped establish GrowFollows as a trusted name in the Bangladesh SMM space.
By the end of 2023, GrowFollows was ranking on page one for multiple Bangladesh-related SMM panel keywords. Local traffic was growing steadily. The foundation was strong.
Phase 2: Global Expansion (January 2024 to December 2025)
Once the local presence was solid, Ihsan wanted to expand globally. Starting in January 2024, we shifted strategy.
We started targeting international keywords. Terms like “best SMM panel”, “cheap Instagram followers”, “YouTube views SMM panel”, and platform-specific service keywords with global search intent.
We expanded the blog content to cover topics beyond Bangladesh. Articles about SMM panel SEO strategies, social media marketing trends, platform algorithm updates, and industry guides. This content attracted a global audience and positioned GrowFollows as a knowledgeable authority in the space.
We optimized service pages for broader audiences. Instead of focusing only on Bangladesh, we made sure the pages spoke to users in India, Pakistan, the UK, the US, and other major markets. We highlighted features that mattered globally, like fast delivery, 24/7 support, and multiple payment options including cryptocurrency.
We also paid attention to Google algorithm updates during this phase. Every time Google released a major update, we reviewed the website, checked for any negative impact, and adjusted the strategy as needed.
Voice search optimization became part of the strategy in 2025. We made sure content answered questions naturally, which helped GrowFollows rank for voice queries people were asking through Google Assistant and other voice tools.
By December 2025, GrowFollows was ranking for over 1,100 keywords globally. Organic traffic had grown significantly. The website was getting visitors from all over the world.
The Results: 44 Months of Real Growth
Here is what happened over the 44-month project.
Google Search Console: Last 6 Months
This screenshot shows the most recent six months of performance.

| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Total Clicks | 75,100 |
| Total Impressions | 1,290,000 |
| Average CTR | 5.8% |
| Average Position | 22.8 |
75,100 clicks in six months. That is 12,500 clicks per month on average. All organic. Zero ad spend.
The average CTR of 5.8% is solid for an SMM panel website competing in a crowded space. The average position of 22.8 tells us there is still room to climb, but GrowFollows is already on the first three pages for most of their target keywords.
The upward trend in the chart shows consistent growth. No sudden spikes. No drops. Just steady, reliable organic traffic growth month after month.
Semrush Domain Overview: December 2025

| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Authority Score | 17 (Average) |
| Organic Traffic | 3,200 visitors/month |
| Organic Keywords | 1,100 |
| Referring Domains | 864 |
| Backlinks | 7,300 |
| AI Visibility | 22 |
| Paid Traffic | 0 visitors/month |
Look at the difference from April 2022 to December 2025.
Organic traffic went from zero to 3,200 monthly visitors. Organic keywords jumped from 7 to 1,100. That is a 15,600% increase in ranking keywords.
The authority score stayed at 17, which shows the growth came from on-page optimization and content strategy rather than aggressive link building. Sometimes the best SEO results come from doing the basics right, not from chasing high authority scores.
The AI Visibility score of 22 is interesting. GrowFollows is showing up in AI-powered search tools like ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews, and other emerging platforms. This tells us their content is being recognized as helpful by AI systems, which will become more important over the next few years.
Comparing April 2022 to December 2025
Let me put the growth in perspective.
April 2022:
- 0 organic traffic
- 7 ranking keywords
- No local presence
- No global reach
December 2025:
- 3,200 monthly organic visitors
- 1,100 ranking keywords
- Strong Bangladesh presence
- Growing global reach
The transformation is clear. GrowFollows went from invisible on Google to a website with real organic visibility in 44 months.
The Growth Timeline: Phase by Phase
Here is how the growth played out month by month.
| Period | What Happened | Traffic Trend |
|---|---|---|
| May to Dec 2022 | Technical fixes, local keyword research, first blog posts | Slow start, minimal traffic |
| Jan to Jun 2023 | Local content scaling, Bangladesh SEO focus | Traffic begins to climb |
| Jul to Dec 2023 | Local dominance achieved, rankings improve | Steady local growth |
| Jan to Jun 2024 | Global expansion begins, international keywords targeted | New traffic sources appear |
| Jul to Dec 2024 | Blog content scales globally, voice search optimization | Strong upward trend |
| Jan to Dec 2025 | Peak performance, 1,100 keywords ranking | Exponential global growth |
The first 8 months were the hardest. We were building from zero. Results were slow. But we stayed consistent.
By mid-2023, the local strategy started paying off. Traffic from Bangladesh was growing every month. Rankings were climbing for local keywords.
2024 was the turning point. Once we shifted to global SEO, the website started attracting traffic from multiple countries. The content was resonating with users beyond Bangladesh.
2025 was the breakthrough year. Everything we built in the previous three years compounded. Keywords ranked higher. Traffic accelerated. GrowFollows became a recognized name in the SMM panel space.
What Made the Biggest Impact?
Three things made the difference between success and failure on this project.
The local-first strategy worked. Starting with Bangladesh gave GrowFollows a strong foundation. They built authority in a specific market before trying to compete globally. This approach is smarter than jumping straight into international competition with zero rankings.
Content brought the traffic. Every blog post we published opened up new keyword opportunities. Educational content attracted users who were not ready to buy yet. But they remembered the site when they were ready. That is how you build sustainable growth.
Technical SEO created stability. We did not ignore the technical side. Fast page speed, clean code, proper internal linking, and mobile optimization made sure Google could crawl and index the site properly. Without this foundation, all the content in the world would not have mattered.
Why the Local-to-Global Strategy Works
A lot of businesses make the mistake of trying to rank globally from day one.
That strategy works if you already have high domain authority, a big budget, and time to wait years for results. But most SMM panels do not have those advantages.
The local-first approach solves this problem.
You start with a smaller, less competitive market. You dominate that market. You build rankings, traffic, and authority. Then you expand to bigger markets with a stronger foundation.
This is exactly what we did with GrowFollows. Bangladesh first. Global second. The results speak for themselves.
We used the same strategy with other clients. SMMGen grew from 32 to 27,900 monthly clicks using a similar approach. SMMSun went from 50 to 7,770 monthly clicks following the same principles.
The pattern is clear. Start local. Build authority. Then go global. It works.
Lessons for Other SMM Panel Owners
If you run an SMM panel and want to grow organic traffic, here is what you need to know.
Stop trying to compete globally from day one. Start with your local market. Build a strong presence there first. Then expand. You will get results faster and spend less money.
Content is not optional. If you do not have a blog, you are missing out on the majority of search traffic. Write helpful articles. Answer questions. Build trust. The traffic will follow.
Technical SEO matters more than you think. Fix your page speed. Optimize for mobile. Set up proper internal linking. These are not glamorous tasks, but they determine whether your content ranks or not.
Stay consistent for at least 12 months. SEO is not a quick fix. The first six months are slow. But if you stay consistent, the results compound. GrowFollows is proof of that.

Final Thoughts
GrowFollows is a perfect example of how patient, strategic SEO delivers real business results.
Ihsan Mahbub had a clear vision. Start local. Build strong. Then go global. We followed that vision and executed it month after month for 44 months.
The numbers tell the story. Zero to 3,200 monthly organic visitors. 7 keywords to 1,100 keywords. 75,100 clicks in the last six months alone. All organic. All sustainable.
If your business is not getting organic traffic, the solution is usually simpler than you think. Fix the technical foundation. Create helpful content. Target the right keywords. Stay consistent.
That is what we did with GrowFollows. And it worked.
